Rain, thundershowers in UP

Rain and thundershowers were reported in eastern part and at one or two places in Western UP.

Banda received 5 cm rainfall, Allahabad 4 cm rainfall, Basti, Ayodhya 3 cm each while Bahraich, Katarniaghat, Deoria, Salempur, Faizabad, Dhaurahara and Jhansi 2 cm each, Met office said.

Met office has forecast rain and thundershowers at one or two places in the state during the next 24 hours.
