Rainfall at several places in UP

Several places in Uttar Pradesh experienced rainfall today, with the temple town of Varanasi recording more than 100 mm of rains, the MeT department said here.
Rain or thundershowers is very likely to occur at a few places over eastern parts of the state and at isolated places over west Uttar Pradesh, it said.
The state capital and its surrounding will be have partly cloudy sky and rainfall is very likely in some areas, the MeT predicted.
Varanasi received 101.4 mm of rainfall, Meerut 24.3 mm, Bareilly 16.4 mm, Ghazipur 14.6 mm, Najibabad 12.4 mm, Aligarh 10.2 mm, Bahraich 8.8 mm, Sultanpur 4 mm and Muzaffarnagar 3.6 mm.
