According to the India Meteorological Department, the Safdarjung observatory, reading of which is considered the official figure for the city, recorded 21 mm of rainfall between 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM while weather stations at Palam, Lodhi Road, Ridge and Ayanagar recorded 8.4 mm, 19.8 mm, 2.3 mm and 13.4 mm rainfall in the same period.
The observatories at Safdarjung, Palam, Lodhi Road, Ridge and Ayanagar received 26.3 mm, 8.1 mm, 30.2mm, 0.8 mm and 7.3 mm rainfall till 8.30 AM.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 32.9 degrees, two notches below the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 25 degrees, also two notches below the normal, said the official.
The Met Office has predicted overcast conditions along with the possibility of ligh rains for tomorrow.
"The skies will be generally cloudy. Light rain or drizzle is likely to occur in some areas.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover at 33 and 26 degrees," the weatherman said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 30.1 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 26.4. Relative humidity oscillated between 81 and 97 per cent.
