The rains brought down the maximum temperature by three to five notches in some cities making the weather comfortable in Patna, Gaya and Bhagalpur.
Bhagalpur recorded 21 mm rainfall, while Purnea registered 13.9 mm rains and Patna and Gaya received trace rainfall, the bulletin said.
Patna recorded the highest maximum temperature at 33 degrees Celsius, followed by 31.8 deg C in Purnea, 31.6 deg C in Bhagalpur and 28.8 deg C in Gaya, it said.
