The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Rajasthan police arrested today two government employees for accepting bribe in Sikar and Jhunjhunu districts in the state, an official said.
A team of the ACB arrested Sri Ram, an electricity department employee in Sikar for accepting a bribe of Rs 2,000 from the complainant for allegedly providing electricity connection, Deputy Superintendent of Police, ACB, Kamal Prasad said.
The accused had demanded Rs 5,000 but the deal was settled at Rs 2,000, he said.
In another trap, an ACB team arrested a patwari, Anita Kumari, in Mukundgarh of Jhunjhunu district for taking a bribe of Rs 500 to settle a court case, he added.
