During the Zero Hour, Congress deputy whip Govind Singh Dotasara alleged that the government wanted to sell out two important heritage properties -- Khasakothi hotel in Jaipur and hotel Anand Bhawan in Udaipur -- to foreign-based companies in the name of disinvestment.
He demanded assurance from the government that the properties would not be disinvested in the interest of the state.
However, the Congress members were not satisfied and protested in the Well of the House.
The House witnessed uproar and unruly scenes during the protest of the Congress members who had trooped into the Well.
Jogaram Patel, who was presiding over the proceedings of the House at that time, even called in the marshals to control the Congress MLAs who stepped on dais in front of the chair.
The marshals came in and surrounded the Congress members. Deputy Speaker Rao Rajendra Singh then came on the chair and adjourned the House for one hour.
The Deputy Speaker had to adjourn the House for the third time for another hour when the Congress members were adamant on their demand to speak on the issue.
The House started functioning in order when it re- assembled after three adjournments.
