He criticised the government for "insulting" the symbols of Hinduism and claimed a racket, which smuggle animal skin and horns, was operative and demanded an inquiry should be ordered and conducted by CBI or a high court judge.
The senior BJP leader and MLA from Sanganer constituency alleged the smuggling of cows has "increased 7-8 times during the present government."
Tiwari, who is a known critic of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, said the government has lost confidence of the party workers, which, according to him, was evident during the recent visit by some minister to Kota and Sikar where they had to face wrath of the people.
Tiwari was addressing members of Deendayal Vahini at Samadhi Sthal of former vice president Bhairon Singh Shekhwat in Vidhyadhar Nagar here.
