Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje yesterday gave her consent to the proposal of state police to transfer the case to CBI and the state government today wrote to the Centre in this regard, a senior official of the home department told PTI.
Rajasthan DGP Omendra Bharadwaj had recommended the state government to hand over the case to the CBI.
CID-CB was investigating the case which was filed by the local police in June on the basis of a probe into a complaint lodged by former Jaipur Mayor Pankaj Joshi on July 31, 2013.
He accused them of being involved in alleged monetary irregularities to the tune of Rs 2.56 crore in the 108 ambulance service.
