Rajagopalan appointed Environment Secretary

Rajagopalan, a 1978 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, is presently Special Secretary and Financial Adviser in Department of Fertilisers.

The vacancy has necessitated following superannuation of T Chatterjee, IAS (AP:75), according to an official release.
