Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje will tomorrow inaugurate the Bhamashah Techno Hub that will provide free space, easier funding avenues and mentorship to startups, an official said.
The hub would be able to accommodate over 700 startup ventures with an 1.50 lakh square feet of incubation space and also help them get connected with potential investors.
"Apart from funding, the startups require space where logistics along with mentorship is taken care of.
"So, we have created Bhamashah Techno Hub so that all the requirements of startups by way of co-working space and connecting with mentors as well as funding agencies are met," Akhil Arora, Principal Secretary at the Department of Information and Technology and Communications, told PTI.
The Chief Minister would inaugurate the hub here tomorrow, he added.
"Not only Rajasthan's own startups but other startups... can come, get registered in the state and start operating from here," Arora said.
An official statement said the incubation centre would offer free space, connectivity, easier funding, mentorship and exposure to budding startups.
The Rajasthan government has already announced setting up of a Rs 500-crore startup fund -- Bhamashah Techno Fund. Out of the total amount, Rs 50 crore has been earmarked for green startups and Rs 100 crore for women startups.
