Rajasthan to prepare contingency plan in view of low rainfall

At a review meeting here, Minister of Public Health and Engineering Jitendra Singh asked officials of the water resources department to assess the situation and make alternative arrangements for water supply in the state.

"Deficit rainfall may affect regular water supply so it was necessary for the officers to prepare a plan in advance to handle any crisis situation," Singh said.
