Before taking a flight to Mumbai to attend Devendra Fadnavis' oath ceremony, Raje made a halt at Rajkiya Balika Ucch Madhyamik Vidhyalaya and asked the students to take oath of unity to pay homage to the 'Iron Man of India' and follow his ideals.
Earlier in the morning, an "ekta daur" (unity run) was also held at statue circle here on the 139th birth anniversary of the first Home Minister of the country celebrated as "Rashtriya Ekta Divas".
Scores of Congress leaders including former PCC Chief Dr Chandrabhan, PCC Vice President Rajiv Arora, leaders of frontal organisations, former MPS, and MLAs paid floral tributes at the portrait of Indira Gandhi.
