The visit is part of the state government's 'sarkar aapke dwar' (government at your doorstep) campaign. After reaching Bikaner, the Chief Minister held a meeting her cabinet colleagues at the veterinary university campus and asked them to hold public hearings at different places, official sources said.
Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Arun Chaturvedi will hold 'janta darbar' (public hearing) in Sridungargarh, Nokha and Bikaner panchayat samitis, whereas Medical and Health Minister R S Rathore will heard public grievances at Kolayat, Khajuwala, and Lunkaransar areas from June 20 to 23, an official said.
Issues related to water and electricity supplies, agriculture, canal area development, water works, education, panchayat and civic bodies would be taken up during the meetings, officials said.
