Addressing a national conference on Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in Rajasthan with focus on Health Insurance, Raje said that her government was working with the objective of extending best possible health coverage to the people of state.
"We need to make efforts to ensure affordable health services so that people do not suffer financial hardship. To achieve effective universal health care in the state, the government is studying schemes being run in other states and experts working in this field are being consulted," she said.
Mentioning 'Bhamashah Card scheme' launched last year by the state government, the Chief Minister said that benefit of health insurance will reach to the people through this scheme.
Raje on the occasion also released two books related to health care services.
