Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Thursday dedicated a one-km-long bridge constructed parallel to the Kota barrage, by pressing the remote button at her residence in Jaipur.
Addressing the people attending the inauguration function in Kota, Raje, through video conferencing, said the bridge constructed with a cost of Rs 54 crore will bring down the traffic pressure and people of the city will get relief from congestion.
State Urban Development and Housing Minister Srichand Kriplani informed that projects such as hanging bridge, bridge parallel to the barrage, northern bypass, have been completed and works on other projects was going on.
The function in Kota was also attended by state agriculture minister Prabhulal Saini, MLA Prahlad Gunjal, Kota Mayor Mahesh Vijay.
