The sci-fi romance will also feature megastar Amitabh Bachchan and actress Alia Bhatt.
"There's time for 'Dragon'. I start for it from October 15. As of now, I will fly to New York day after for five days to shoot for 'Dutt'. Afrer returning to Mumbai, there will be a remaining 10-day shoot of 'Dutt'," Ranbir told reporters here at the special screening of "Jagga Jasoos".
"Dragon" will be Ranbir and Ayan's third project after successful collaborations in "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" and "Wake Up Sid".
"Jagga Jasoos", which hits theatres today, also stars Katrina Kaif and Saurabh Shukla. The Anurag Basu-directed film marks Ranbir's debut as a producer.
The movie is releasing in India in 1800 screens across 1150 cinemas. It will release in more than 610 screens in overseas markets like North America, UK, Gulf, Australia and New Zealand, according to co-producers Disney.
