Rao congratulates Sania for Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today congratulated ace Indian tennis player Sania Mirza on being awarded the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award.
"The Chief Minister wishing her all the best, expressed the hope that in future she would get many more such awards nationally and internationally," an official release from CM's Office said.
Mirza received the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award from President Pranab Mukherjee on the occasion of National Sports Day at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Sania became the second tennis player to receive the country's highest sporting honour after Leander Paes.
