Satpal Maharaj, who recently left Congress and joined BJP, today said that Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat, in his capacity as Union Minister, did not do enough for flood victims during the last year's natural calamity.
Maharaj, MP from Pauri, was reacting to Rawat's statement, in which the Chief Minister had alleged that Maharaj had visited just once or twice the flood-affected areas.
Maharaj said that he toured many affected villages not by helicopter but by road. Maharaj claimed that he had raised the issue in Parliament also.
