RUDA has recently sought suggestions from people and various organisations and RBA is claimed to be the first body in the state to have conducted a survey and made suggestion to the urban development authority.
"We have conducted a survey before giving suggestions to RUDA, which is preparing its master development plan 2031," said RBA president Hitesh Bagdai.
According to the survey, Rajkot covers around 686 sq km land with population of over 16 lakh and city's population is expected to be almost doubled by 2031.
Currently, the authority has given permission to construct a 21-storey building.
