RBI official to address event on banking in Thane

A senior RBI official will address a one-day national conference on latest trends in banking to be held at a college here on November 21.
The UGC sponsored conference on 'Emerging Trends in Banking, Commerce and Insurance: Opportunities, Challenges and Strategies' will be held at Dyanasadhana College here where the valedictory address would be delivered by B M Mishra, principal adviser, department of economic policy and research, RBI, the organisers said today.
Select studies, out of the 104 research papers received by the educational institution from across the country, would be presented during the conference where the experts will deliberate on various issues related to banking, commerce and insurance, they said.
