Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseeds oil ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the non-edible category, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial rose further following firm offtake from shippers and soap industries.
In the edible segment, refined plamolein went up by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 435 from Monday's closing level of Rs 433.
Groundnut oil finished unchanged at Rs 1,040 per 10kg.
In the non-edible space, castorseed bold climbed to Rs 10 per 100kg to Rs 4,075 from Rs 4,065 and castoroil commercial moved up by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 845 against Rs 843 previously. Linseed oil ended unaltered at Rs 770 per 10kg.
