Refined palmolein spurts on sustained demand

Refined palmolein continued its uptrend at Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on sustained demand from retailers.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil ruled steady in absence of any worthwhile buying.
Linseed oil rallied further following firm demand from paint and allied industries.
In the non-edible, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial slipped owing to subdued demand from shippers and soap manufacturers.
In the edible section, refined palmolein advanced by Rs 8 per 10kg to Rs 513 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 505. Groundnutoil closed unchanged at Rs 513 per 10kg.
Moving to non-edible segment, Linseedoil climbed by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 765 as against Rs 760 yesterday. However, castorseeds bold fell by Rs 25 per 100kg to Rs 4,025 from Rs 4,050 and castoroil commercial moved down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 765 as compared to Rs 760.
