Groundnut oil and linseed oil held steady in the absence of any major buying activity.
In non-edible segment, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial prices slipped due to subdued demand from shippers and soap industries.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein dropped by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 485 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 490. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 980 per 10kg.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseed bold fell by Rs 25 per 100kg to Rs 3,625 from Rs 3,650 and castor oil commercial moved down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 755 as compared to Rs 760 yesterday. Linseeds closed unaltered at Rs 755 per 10kg.
