Renault sales surge over twofold to 7,819 units in Nov

Automaker Renault has reported over twofold jump in sales at 7,819 units in November as against 3,201 units sold in the same month last year.
"When we launched Renault Kwid in India, we committed to launching a new era and benchmark in the Indian automotive industry. The outstanding feedback and unprecedented response to the car have proved us right," Renault India Operations, Country CEO and Managing Director, Sumit Sawhney said in a statement today.
The company is working with a single-minded focus to ramp up production to meet the increasing demand for this revolutionary car, he added.
