Apart from that, government has also announced that number of seats reserved in each bus for senior citizens will be doubled from two to four.
Government has also decided to increase the Metro feeder buses so that public transport facility could be improved across the city.
"All (DTC and cluster services) bus routes are being reviewed by the government so that we can provide public-transport facility at every place in the city. We will also extend bus routes if needed," Transport Minister Gopal Rai said.
The minister also said that it has been decided that additional 50 buses will be provided for Ghumanhera and Bawana bus depots each to strengthen public transport in rural areas.
