Reviews42 raises $5 mn; rebrands itself to Zopper

Online consumer products research platform, Reviews42, today said it has raised USD 5 million funding from Tiger Global Management and Nirvana Venture Advisors.
The proceeds from the Series B funding will be used for product development and innovation, team building and enhancing infrastructure, it said in a statement.
The company has also rebranded itself as 'Zopper', signifying the broad capabilities offered by their platform across comprehensive price comparison, product discovery and user reviews.
Last year, the firm had raised an undisclosed amount from investors like Nirvana Venture Advisors and Blume Ventures.

Ramco partners with Able Aerospace Services * Aviation software provider Ramco Systems today said it has partnered Able Aerospace Services to become its monolithic ERP system of record.
This will include complete maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), supply chain, engineering, finance and accounting software solutions.
"Ramco's solution will place our enterprise systems under one umbrella, allowing us to reduce costs and streamline processes," Able Aerospace Services CEO Lee Benson said.

Lenovo India, HCL Infosystems form strategic partnership * Lenovo India has partnered HCL Infosystems to leverage the latter's sales, distribution and after-sales support network.
Under this partnership, HCL Infosystems will sell and support Lenovo's entire portfolio of PCs and Tablets, as well as enhance their existing cooperation in distribution of tablets, through its wholly owned subsidiary -- Digilife Distribution and Marketing Services (DDMS).

Now add items in Amazon Cart from Twitter * Amazon.In today announced the launch of its #AmazonCart service in India, using which customers can add products that they discover on Twitter to their shopping carts.
Customers who have connected their Amazon and Twitter accounts can add items to their carts just by tweeting the link of an Amazon.In product along with the #AmazonCart hashtag, it said in a statement.
They will get a reply tweet from @MyAmazonIN as well as an email from Amazon.In when the item is successfully added to their cart.
"The Twitter and Amazon agreement now extends to India to provide the maturing eCommerce industry here with another tool to engage online shoppers as well as to extend relationships on Twitter to the core of their e-commerce platforms," Arvinder Gujral, Business Development Director, Twitter Southeast Asia and India said.
