The 38-year-old rapper, AKA William Leonard Roberts II, was taken into custody late on Friday night, according to TMZ.
He was allegedly arrested last year for possession of marijuana but failed to turn up at court. Ross was apprehended by authorities after his performance at the SuperJam 2014 at the Greensboro Coliseum.
A warrant was out for Ross and the moment he entered the state the North Carolina police were gearing up to arrest him. He was apparently cooperative with the authorities and a SuperJam representative said Ross had paid the USD 1000 bail and has been released.
