Geelani, the chairman of the hardline faction, said: "Those creating doubts about the United Nations' resolutions help India."

National Front Chairman and Hurriyat General Council member Nayeem Khan said: "Those who say that U N resolutions cannot be implemented have no place in Hurriyat Conference. They have no mandate to redirect or misdirect the movement."

Bhat while addressing a public rally at his hometown Boitingoo in Sopore area of north Kashmir yesterday had said the U N resolutions cannot be implemented for resolving Kashmir issue in view of the prevailing situation in the sub-continent and around the globe.

"I have said nothing which is outside the Hurriyat consitution which provides for negotiated settlement between the three principal parties - India, Pakistan and Kashmiris," Bhat told PTI today.

He said the U N resolutions form the legal basis of Kashmir issue but when the parties come to negotiating table they have to show flexibility.
