Rob, 28, has been battling weight issues over the last couple of years and his health took a turn for the worse over the weekend, reported TMZ.
He was admitted to the local hospital, where doctors performed a number of tests and subsequently revealed he was diabetic.
Rob was still under doctors' care and in a stable condition,
The reality TV regular began piling on the pounds following his 2012 split from singer Rita Ora, and his ballooning weight has prompted him to take a step back from appearing on the family reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians".
