The "Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe" will be shot in Los Angeles later this year. No premiere date or taping date has yet been set.
The 52-year-old actor will follow the likes of Charlie Sheen, James Franco, and Justin Bieber when he becomes the butt of the joke as friends and comedians take digs at him during a TV special, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"Rob Lowe is handsome, talented, successful and handsome. He needs to be roasted," said Kent Alterman, president of Comedy Central.
