Royal Enfield sales zoom 59% in September

Royal Enfield, the two-wheeler division of Eicher Motors, today reported 58.78% jump in total sales at 44,491 units in September.

The two-wheeler manufacturer had sold 28,020 units in September 2014, Eicher Motors said in a BSE filing.

Sales in the domestic market stood at 43,741 as against 27,540 units in the same month last year, up 58.82%.

Exports during the month rose 56.25% to 750 units compared with 480 units in September 2014.
