Rs 3 lakh each to families of 14 deceased cops

: The Tamil Nadu government today announced a relief of Rs three lakh each to the families of 14 policemen who had died of natural causes recently.
Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa condoled the death of the 14 police personnel from different parts of the state, including Salem and Villupuram, and expressed her sympathies with the families of the deceased.
She said in a statement she had directed a relief of Rs three lakh to each of the cops' families from the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund.
