Rs 654 crore sanctioned for construction of roads in Haryana

The National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB) has sanctioned Rs 654 crore for construction of 114.302 kms of road in five districts of Hrayana.
The districts are Gurgaon, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Sonipat and Rewari, an official spokesman said.
Construction of new roads and upgradation of existing roads would be undertaken in these districts.
The projects were approved at a meeting of the Project Sanctioning and Monitoring Group of NCRPB in New Delhi.
The meeting was chaired by Sudhir Krishna, Secretary, Union Urban Development, the spokesman said.
Principal Secretaries of Public Works Departments (Building and Roads) of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh also attended the meeting.
