As soon as the House met for the day, BJP members trooped into the Well shouting: "Pradhan Mantri Istifa do, Istifa do (Prime Minister resign)" and "Pradhan Mantri sharam karo, sharam karo (shame on you Prime Minister)" over alleged attempts to influence CBI probe into the coalgate scam.
Some BJP and Akali Dal members held posters against the acquittal of Sajjan Kumar. One of the posters demanded an investigation by an SIT appointed by Supreme Court.
Chairman Hamid Ansari asked members not to come into the Well or display posters.
With members not heeding to his requests, he ordered live telecast of the proceedings to be shut-off.
But as the members continued to shout slogans, he adjourned the House till noon.
