Addressing a meeting today, Gulshan thanked the leaders and workers of the women's wing for their untiring efforts which had resulted in historic victories for SAD in the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee elections and the Moga bypolls.
She said it was a matter of pride for the women's wing that a number of its leaders and workers had spent months away from their families to support SAD in its electoral battles.
Pointing to the next challenge before them - the upcoming Lok Sabha elections - Gulshan apprised the members about the policies, programmes and strategies of the party and urged Istri Akali Dal leaders to actively join SAD's membership drive.
