Sailor dies onboard Navy ship after sustaining bullet injury

A 30-year old sailor of Indian Navy died after sustaining a bullet injury while "handling firearms" onboard INS Kirch here today.
The sailor, was shifted to the local Naval hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, and a board of inquiry had been ordered to investigate the incident, a press release from the Eastern Naval Command said.
Ravi Sati, who was unmarried, hailed from Nainital in Uttarakand.
"Ravi Sati, Mechnician Class 3 sustained a bullet injury while handling firearms on duty as Security Chief at about 5 am this morning onboard INS Kirch," said the release.
