The festival will commence from from tomorrow and will be on till February 24 in Jammu.
"The 9th edition of 'SaMaPa Aalap Festival (SAF)' is all set to enthral Jammu with music for the next 15 days," Abhay Rustum Sopori, Secretary SaMaPa told reporters here today.
The festival is being presented by the music legend Pt Bhajan Sopori and music maestro Abhay's Academy - SaMaPa (Sopori Academy of Music And Performing Arts).
The SAF 2014 is being presented by SaMaPa in collaboration with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Dept of Tourism, Jammu and J&K Police, he added.
Sopori, Secretary SaMaPa, revealed that SAF 2014 will feature around 35 presentations at around 25 different venues.
SaMaPa has made special efforts in shaping the talent of the youth and not letting it go waste, and creating avenue for them so that they can have a choice to make music and performing arts as their career.
