Samco Ventures, parent of online discount broker and the owner of mobile trading platform StockNote Samco Securities, today said it has raised Rs 49 crore in series-B funding round led by the existing promoters and Bay Capital Investments.
This follows a Rs 20 crore series-A funding raised by the company in financial year 2015-16.
The company will use the new proceeds towards building its mutual fund distribution, lending capability, research and advisory businesses, Samco Securities and StockNote founder and CEO Jimeet Modi said in a release.
