Sansi gang leader, 4 accomplices held

A leader of the Sansi gang, carrying a reward of Rs 12,000 on his head, has been arrested along with his four accomplices here, police said today.
Das Sansi, who was wanted in a robbery case, was last night arrested with four gang members - Sunil, Babloo, Monu and Krishna here, SHO of Murad Nagar police station Ranvir Singh said.
All the five men are members of Sansi Gang and hail from Haryana, the officer said.
Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of crime branch and Murad Nagar police station personnel intercepted the car, in which the five persons were travelling, but the accused fired on them and tried to escape but failed, he said.

The team then arrested the five men, Singh said.
A stolen car, three country-made pistols, seven cartridges, metal cutters were recovered from the accused, the SHO said.
