The Santhali director-producer lost everything, including the master disc of his several films worth Rs seven lakhs, in a fire that broke out in his ancestral house in Pudihasa, on the outskirts of steel city on May 13.
The show will be held on June 7 and the proceeds will be given to Hansdah, C R Manjhi, General Secretary of Disom Jaher, Karandih, said today at a press conference here.
Manjhi said Hansdah's super-hit Santhali movie "Aalom Re Jia Aa Sakom Sindoor" will also be screened at the show.
Among the films stored in the hard disc included "Boha Maya" ('Brother's affection'), "Kherwal Jumid" ('Unity of Tribal'), "Sagun Ena Sohaag Dolar", he said.
Leading Santhali actors including Bir Baha Hansdah, Rajuraj Biruli, Lakhan Soren, Manoj Hembram, Raju Mitra, Manjula Mardi and Dusashan Sakila will perform at the charity show.
