The maximum temperature was recorded at 33.5 degrees Celsius, almost two notches lower than that yesterday.
The minimum today was one degree lower than the previous day and settled at 26.8 degrees, which is normal for this time of the year, MeT officials said.
The rain gauge at Safdarjung recorded a minimal 0.4-mm rainfall while the other parts of the city, like the Palam, Ridge and Ayanagar areas, received 'nil' rainfall.
Humidity in the air was recorded between 66 and 85 per cent, MeT officials added.
"It will be cloudy. Light rain or thundershowers could occur in some parts of the city. The maximum and minimum are likely to settle at around 35 and 26 degrees, respectively," the weatherman said.
