According to the MeT department officials, Safdarjung observatory recorded 0.4 mm rainfall while traces of rains were witnessed in Ayanagar area.
Palam and Ridge areas received 'nil' rainfall.
Humidity in the air oscillated between 82 and 61 per cent during the day, the weatherman said.
The maximum temperature in the capital settled at 35 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal while the minimum was registered at 27.6, one notch above the normal.
"It will be generally cloudy. Light rains and thundershowers may occur in some areas tomorrow. The maximum and minimum temperature is likely to be around 34 and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively," according to MeT forecast.
