Scott, 28, has followed in the footsteps of famous actors like Ryan Gosling, Channing Tatum, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Duhamel and Zac Efron, who too have played the leads in movies based on Sparks's bestsellers, reported People magazine.

The Longest Ride, which echoes Sparks' smash hit The Notebook, tells the story of an elderly widower whose life is entwined with the life of a sorority girl and the cowboy she loves.
