"A delegation of BJP MLAs today met the Lt Governor and demanded that the appointment of Krishna Saini as chairperson of DERC by Delhi government be declared null and void because it was unauthorised, unconstitutional and illegal," Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta said.
Delhi government "unilaterally" finalised the name of Krishna Saini as chairperson of DERC in "violation" of the Delhi Electricity Act, 2003, he alleged.
Accompanied by fellow party MLAs OP Sharma and Jagdish Pradhan, Gupta handed over a memorandum to Jung.
