A scrap dealer was injured after an unknown device went off in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, police said.
Javed Ahmad Dar, a resident of Zasow area in south Kashmir district, was dealing with junk when the incident took place, a police official said.
Dar was immediately rushed to the District Hospital Pulwama, and was later referred to the Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) Hospital here for specialised treatment, he said.
The official said police is investigating the nature of the blast.
