Security landscape still plagued by known issues: HP

Tech giant Hewlett-Packard today said known issues and misconfigurations emerged as the most formidable threats to enterprise security in 2014.
According to HP's 2015 edition of annual Cyber Risk Report, about 44 per cent of known breaches came from vulnerabilities that are two to four years old.
"Attackers continue to leverage well-known techniques to successfully compromise systems and networks. Every one of the top 10 vulnerabilities exploited in 2014 took advantage of code written years or even decades ago," HP Enterprise Security Products Country Director India and SAARC Jyoti Prakash told PTI.

Wipro partners GK Software for SAP implementation * India's third largest software services firm Wipro today said it has partnered GK Software for implementation of SAP applications for customers globally.
Wipro will offer end-to-end implementation services for joint projects, while GK Software will provide consultancy services and customer support, it said in a statement.

The SAP Store Management applications by GK will be sold directly by SAP.

Hindustan Zinc adopts 3,056 anganwadi centres in Rajasthan * Vedanta Group company Hindustan Zinc today inked an agreement with Rajasthan Government to adopt 3,056 Anganwadi centres in five districts of the state.

In a statement the company said: "This adoption will benefit more than 90,000 underprivileged children in the age group of three to six years and will contribute significantly towards their overall development."
The company has adopted centres in Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Rajsamand and Ajmer for a period of five years. It would be spending Rs 10 crore on the project.

Fresh falsabzi launches its home delivery in Delhi * Fresh fruit and vegetables home delivery service -- Fresh falsabzi -- was today launched in Delhi with an investment of Rs 100 crore spread over a period of five years.

"The budget outlay for this project is pegged at Rs 100 crore spread over a period of five years. Majority of this investment will go towards technology innovations, business capacity building, marketing, and advertising spend," said Fresh falsabzi in a statement.
It is a part of RSND Group, which has interests in retail, services and warehousing sectors.
