The Jharkhand government Tuesday strengthened the security of Bahujan Samaj Party MLA Kushwaha Shivpujan Mehta.
The BSP MLA Tuesday informed the Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Dinesh Oraon that he has been receiving phone calls demanding extortion and threat to life.
Additional Director General of Police (Operation) M L Meena told reporters that a case has been lodged and investigation has begun to trace the threat calls made to the BSP MLA.
The ADGP also informed that the security of the BSP MLA has been strengthened.
