Meanwhile, tin, lead copper scrap heavy recovered on renewed offtake from alloy industries.
Globally, zinc was steady at the LME in early trade as traders took profits after a four-session winning streak that pushed prices to near three-year highs on prospects of falling supply, while copper was also steady, as tight supply supported prices.
Copper sheet cutting and aluminium ingots declined by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 470 and Rs 161 from Monday's closing level of Rs 473 and Rs 164, respectively.
Copper armature softened by Re 1 per kg to Rs 474.
However, tin climbed by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,590 as against Rs 1,585 yesterday.
Copper scrap heavy moved up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 487 from Rs 485 and lead edged-up by a Re per kg to Rs 148.
