The Industrial metal rallied at the LME after US Federal Reserve indicated further stimulus in its meet and weak HSBC PMI data from top consumer China signalled prospects of further easing there.
Nickel and tin shot up by Rs 10 per kg each to Rs 1,070 and Rs 1,260 from overnight close of Rs 1,060 and Rs 1,250.
Copper cable scrap, copper armiture and copper wire bar all rose by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 485, Rs 468 and Rs 513 from Rs 482, Rs 465 and Rs 510 previously.
Brass utensils scrap and aluminium utensils scrap both moved up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 317 and Rs 115 as against Rs 315 and Rs 113 yesterday.
Copper utensils scrap and brass sheet cutting both inched up by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 441 and Rs 327, respectively.
