Select destinations' freights fall on ample position of trucks

Freight rates for nine tonne pay load section to select destinations enquired lower by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following reduced arrivals of cargo.
Transporters said besides ample position of trucks, restricted cargo movements, mainly put pressure on freight rates for some destinations.
Delhi to Jaipur, Chandigarh and Gwalior freights went down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 20,500, Rs 21,500 and Rs 15,500, respectively.
Freights to Ludhiana and Patna also moved down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 22,500 and Rs 28,000, respectively.
